⛸️ Our IJS teams had a blast kicking off the season at Choreo Camp this weekend! 💙❤️

Our skaters dedicated a full weekend to work both on-ice and off-ice training as they began bringing this season's programs to life. From learning choreography, new warm-up routines, and dance, to building skills, crafting, and spending time getting to know their new teams, it was a fun-filled weekend of hard work and excitement!

A huge thank you to our incredible coaches, guest coaches, and volunteers for sharing your time, knowledge, and energy with our skaters. Your dedication helps make weekends like this possible.

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Eble Ice Arena for hosting us and providing a wonderful home for our Choreo Camp.

We can't wait to see all of our teams continue to grow throughout the season. Here's to an amazing 2026–2027 season! 💙⛸️❤️

Jordan Bonesho is a Waukesha West student who had the opportunity to do an Advanced Marketing Internship through her school at Eble Ice Arena, and our staff was thrilled to support her at the recognition ceremony. 🎉

During her internship, Jordan took on responsibilities that supported Eble’s operations, including leading concessions and executing special events and programming. She positively contributed to our team by mentoring new staff and helping visitors.

Although Jordan’s internship is complete, her journey with the park system isn't ending. She will continue to work at Eble while also taking on a seasonal role at Fox Brook Park this summer. Thank you, Jordan, for your work at the Parks and congratulations on your achievement!

👀 You may notice something new taking shape.

Construction at Eble Park Ice Arena is for a new locker room that is being fully funded by Marquette University High School (MUHS), a longtime renter of the facility. The locker room is reserved for MUHS use as part of their private investment.

The County allows projects like this when they create mutual benefit and help secure long-term revenue for the park system. In this case, MUHS’s 100% investment strengthens their long-term commitment to Eble, providing stable, ongoing ice rental revenue.

As part of the agreement, the County also secured a meaningful community benefit – MUHS is constructing a new referee locker room with shower and restroom facilities. That addition will enhance the arena for officials and benefit many user groups.

Waukesha County remains open to similar partnerships that improve our facilities, support users, and protect taxpayers, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the park system.
