🥜 🍓: MEAL REPLACEMENT RECIPE!
The PB&J Protein Shake is one of my favorite go-to recipes. It’s easy, packed with nutrition and nostalgic to my childhood favorite snack!
- 12 oz. unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup frozen berries
- 1/4 cup traditional/rolled oats (uncooked)
- 1 scoop (~20 grams per serving) of vanilla whey protein (I use Thorne Vanilla Whey Isolate)
Pro Tip: Use frozen berries versus fresh to instantly chill your shake. If you have or prefer fresh fruit, just add a couple 🧊 to give it some thickness and chill - you won’t be disappointed!
This is an excellent and fast option for breakfast, lunch or needing nutrition before hitting the gym!

Fitness is a constant journey and you best expect some speed bumps along the way.
I have always been a runner 👟- since I discovered and fell in love with track in grade school.
I pursued bodybuilding 💪🏼 - then a severe case of tendinitis hit and I chose to shift my focus.
I took on the challenge of rowing 🚣 a half marathon (13.1 miles) in under 2 hours.
I’ve completed multiple mud runs including three Tough Mudders. 🏅 🏅 🏅
I have tested my maximal back squats strength in back squatting 275 #. 🏋🏻♀️
Then Endometriosis reared its ugly head and I had surgery. 🤕 I put on over 20 # in 4 months and for the first time felt the struggle many of my clients go through for almost 2 years, trying to lose the weight.
It took changing my priorities, a big shift in my exercise routine, how I take care of myself and what I nourish myself with.
I will always see my fitness journey as an ongoing evolution. Maybe it is time you do the same - what can you SUSTAIN?
