Why this loss will make Caitlin Clark a champion 🏆
The Indiana Fever’s season is over after a 94–83 loss to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 3 of the WNBA playoffs.
But for me, this is not the end of Caitlin Clark’s story — it could be the beginning of something special.
In this video, I explain why I believe Caitlin Clark is on a similar trajectory to Michael Jordan. When Jordan first arrived in Chicago, the Bulls were not ready to compete for championships. He was already special, but he still had to go through the Celtics, the Pistons and other great teams before he finally broke through.
I see something similar happening with Caitlin Clark.
She has already faced injuries, criticism, playoff losses and plenty of adversity. Against the Aces, she literally left the court with a bloody mouth, came back, and kept fighting because she did not want her season to end.
Las Vegas is the defending champion, and Indiana ran into a team that was ready for this moment. But I believe this experience can make Caitlin Clark and the Fever better.
Clark has already said she will go back to the gym and get better.
And if history is any indication, sometimes the losses are what create the player who eventually wins it all.
This chapter is over. The Caitlin Clark story is far from finished.
What do YOU think — can Caitlin Clark eventually lead the Fever to a championship?
