Giants Preseason: The GOOD, The BAD & The NO-NO 🚨🗽

The Giants opened preseason against the Vikings, and I saw some good, some bad, and one BIG no-no. 👀 Cam Skattebo looked like he’s back, Isaiah Likely made an impact, Malik Nabers had a great touchdown catch, and Jackson Dart showed some promise. But the Giants’ run defense gave up WAY too much, and Dart taking that big hit is something we cannot afford. 😳

Is New York doing enough to protect its future at QB? 🏈

The Indiana Fever were up by 20 against the Las Vegas Aces… and somehow lost the game. 😳

Was it the substitutions? The coaching decisions? Or the lack of a clear pecking order when the game gets tight?

Against A’ja Wilson, I believe the Fever should have leaned on Kelsey Mitchell when they desperately needed a bucket instead of repeatedly putting Caitlin Clark in tough situations.

The talent is there—but the late-game ex*****on and decision-making have to be better.

The Indiana Fever and Minnesota Lynx just put on one of the best WNBA games you'll see all season. Kelsey Mitchell exploded for 37 points, Caitlin Clark made big plays, rookie Olivia Miles looked like a seasoned veteran, and Courtney Williams controlled the game with her elite mid-range scoring.
Minnesota may have the deeper roster, but if these two teams meet in the playoffs, it could become an instant classic.

WNBA Players Wanted More Money… Then THIS Was the All-Star Game?!

The WNBA just got a massive salary increase, with minimum salaries jumping from around $66K to over $270K. Fans are investing more than ever. Attendance is up. Ratings are up. Expectations are up.

So why did the All-Star Game look like nobody wanted to compete?

Outside of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, it felt like very few players treated the game with any real intensity. If you want fans to continue investing in the league, you have to give them a show.

Respect to Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell for showing up and competing.
