✨️NY State Championships Recap✨️

What a wild ride this journey has been. Had 2 squat PRs and a meet bench PR! I played it safe on my deadlift attempts in hopes to conserve energy so I could hit a deadlift that would qualify me for Nationals (the sole reason why I even entered this meet) but turns out 160kg (350lbs) is heavy af 😅
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Though, happy to report: my QT is a lot closer to qualifying for Nationals than before so God willing, your girl will be back for Northeast Regionals for another shot. In the meantime, 2nd in the State is pretty cool, too ☺️

Shout out to all of the amazing athletes I had the honor of sharing the platform (and jokes backstage) with. You guys were giving me so much life! Shout out to my twin and wife for life, who always drops everything to hop on a flight and support me at every meet 🥹 To my bestie , to the friends and family who watched the stream and to the best coach an anxious, shy girlie like me could have Feeling extremely grateful for the people in my life 🫶🏾
