Quick kickboxing fight choreo with John & Josiah!

This sequence is a fun remix of a combo we recently learned from the amazing , plus some fantastic Savate Boxe Francaise combinations from .usa . We threw it together in class in less than an hour to create some dynamic screen combat!

We even added the reactions to the end of the final combo to show how it might end if you don't keep your guard up 🥊💥 😵‍💫!

It's been a minute, but here's some Savate flows we recently played with!

How do we create these "flows"? We practice combos from various curriculums, then try and memorize them and play them out as a fluid "choreography" set where attack-and-defend is still in a series of continuous movement and instinctual reactions.

In this case, we were practicing some combinations from Professor Nicolas Saignac's fantastic Teachable curriculum platform.

Building the foundations of Shaolin Kung Fu with the Youth Fist Form.

Our Martial Arts Action for Camera students have been learning this form for a few months, developing shape work, isometric strength, sequence retention for choreography and powerful movement 👊.

Now that they've got it memorized all the way through, it's time to refine!

Personally, it's been a blessing to be able to pass down the art I learned in my 20s, so thank you to my students for giving this kind of training a chance! ~ Dylan
