Words can't describe this feeling. Shidoshi John F. Manniel III. What can I say. You were my friend, my mentor, and my 2nd father. You helped forge my path and the person I became. From the dojo on 51st Street (near the firehouse) to the Hidden Dojo on 65th Street, to Golden Eagle Martial Arts on 8th Avenue & 50th Street, to Sunset Park Martial Arts at 4601 4th Avenue, 4410 4th Avenue, and 889 4th Avenue. You were there for me. Because of your influence in my life, I've been fortunate enough to teach hundreds of students in the ways of Kar-Do-Jitsu Ryu, including my nieces & nephews, my godson, and my 2 kids whom have become instructors, as well as so many other black belts that have become as close to me as my own 2 children. Your influence and participation in all of our lives will be missed. I thank you for everything that you've given us throughout the years, and I promise to do my best to keep you alive in our hearts and in our teaching.

Ayudaste a forjar mi camino y la persona en la que me convertí. Estuviste allí para mí. I'd like to wish my daughter Deanna Arias , a happy 29th birthday. You are such an incredible person. Always smiling and brightening everyone's day. You have been my light in some dark times, as well as my best friend. Your brother and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. I have Always and will continue to do everything possible, to take care of you, protect you, and make you smile often.. Thank you for being the best daughter a father can have. I love you to the moon and back. Enjoy your day.

Good evening all of our dojo brothers and sisters. We want to invite everyone to the grand opening of the newest member of the Kar-Do-Jitsu Ryu Karate Federation, the Fearless Eagles Dojo, run by our very own Hanshi Nick Perez! The grand opening will be held this Saturday, September 21st at 110 Dinsmore Place Brooklyn, NY 11208. There will be one class from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and a second class from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. We ask you all to come and show your support for our dojo brother and his future success.

Queremos invitarlos a todos a la gran inauguración del nuevo miembro de la Kar-Do-Jitsu Ryu Karate Federation, el Fearless Eagles Dojo, dirigido por nuestro propio Hanshi Nick Perez. In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Sunset Park Martial Arts is have a women's self-defense class this Sunday, October 29th, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Let's help protect the important women in our lives by teaching them to protect themselves.

As a notice for all of our students and parents, we will not be having class this Sunday. The school will be moving to a new location! The new school will be located at 534 Court St. Brooklyn, NY 11231. Class will resume the following Sunday at the new location. For all of our SPMA/KDJR fathers we hope you enjoy your day and know that you are greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing everyone in class next week.
