Join us for the G**O 2026 ride! ๐Ÿšฒ

On Saturday, May 9th, BTCโ€™s 2026 G**O (Get The Eff Out of Prospect Park Ride) commences! This is a no-drop, 55 mile group ride led by several of our more experienced team members across the Brooklyn Bridge, up the west side, across the GW Bridge and north through NJ and NY. There will be 2-3 groups that are staggered 15 minutes apart.

For those looking for a shorter ride, there is an option to hop on the subway at the 175 St A station on the way back for a total of ~38 miles of riding, which would still let you experience riding on 9W and enjoy a coffee at The Market stop.

This ride is the perfect opportunity to meet teammates, while spreading your cycling wings and learning how to navigate the route from BK to 9W in order to complete longer rides!

As always, check the forum to register and get starting location.

Join us for our annual run clinic with Coach John Hirsch, THIS weekend! ๐Ÿƒ

When: Saturday May 2nd from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Where: Run training meeting spot (the water fountain at center drive)
Cost: $50 โ€“ the clinic will be capped at 14 people. Registration is open on our website under โ€œeventsโ€ now until May 1st at 8pm.

This run clinic will take runners through every aspect of running, from the best run warm-ups to perfect run form and proper cooldowns. Using over a dozen drills and exercises along with video software to break down each runnerโ€™s gait in real-time with the athlete, runners will leave with improved run form, new skills, and knowledge about their running. Weโ€™ll review small changes for meaningful gain that will improve your speed and help you stay injury-free. There will also be a useful Q&A about all things running including shoes, fueling, running in tris, and anything else you want to know!

Hosted by John Hirsch, 4-time top 10 pro ironman and 3-time ultra-marathon Spartan World Champ, John brings his 20 years of racing and coaching experience and enthusiasm to this interactive clinic.

Most triathletes train swim, bike, run. And then wonder why theyโ€™re falling apart by race day. ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿƒ

Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s missing: strength.

Strength training isnโ€™t just for bodybuilders. For triathletes, itโ€™s the difference between:

โœ… Holding your aero position on the bike vs. fading at km 50
โœ… Running off the bike with power vs. shuffling to the finish
โœ… Staying injury-free through a full season vs. spending months on the sideline

Hereโ€™s how it directly improves your performance:

๐ŸŠ SWIM โ€” stronger lats, shoulders and core mean more power per stroke and better body position in the water. Less drag, more speed.

๐Ÿšด BIKE โ€” stronger glutes and hamstrings mean more watts at the same effort. Better hip stability means you hold your aero position longer without breaking down.

๐Ÿƒ RUN โ€” stronger single-leg stability and posterior chain means better running economy off the bike. You donโ€™t just survive the run. You race it.

The research is clear โ€” triathletes who strength train improve economy across all three disciplines. That means faster times without more volume.

At our BTC strength clinic, Coach Ben will teach you and set you up with a foundational strength training program.
