Morningwood swept the Dirtbags 14-4/ 18-14
Brotherhood and Brooklyn split their doubleheaders
The Clinchers took 2 from an undermanned but not undetermined Wolfpack 6-5 and 13-9.Wolfpack was down 12-3 but came howling back in the last inning to let the Clinchers know they will never roll over

Tuesday's game was a roller coaster.Morningwood entered the final inning trailing by 2 runs.They scored 4 times to take a 9-7 lead,In the bottom of the 7th Red Rockets fought back to tie the game and had the bases loaded with one out.The winning run scored as Morningwood attempted to turn a doubleplay on a grounder to 2nd as the batter barely beat the throw to first.

Dyker slopitch league kicked off tonite with an offensive explosion as The Red Rockets outslugged the Raging Bulls 17-12.Still time for teams to join the league.615 pm doubleheaders at Dyker.$500 entry fee call 718 769-0815

Put week one in the books.There were a couple of upsets as last years champs -Barracudas -were swept by big hitting Darkside and 3rd and 7 lost 2 very close games to the Clippers-game two went 12 innings!!!Nice pitching from Pepsi .The Furies swept the Saviours and Prestige and the Reapers split.
