The stats say we finished with 𝟒𝟔 𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝟒𝟏 𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐬, 𝟐𝟔 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟒𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬, but GameChanger doesn't begin to tell the story.

It doesn't tell you about Tylen hitting .500 with 11 RBIs over the weekend. Charlie's perfect 𝟑-𝐟𝐨𝐫-𝟑 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝟑. Bode's huge double in the championship that helped erase a four-run deficit. Carter's clutch game-tying hit later in that same comeback. Levi knocking in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning of the championship after also throwing 𝟓⅔ 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝟖 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 earlier in the weekend. Drew finding a way to reach base in five of his eight plate appearances. Drey producing on both sides of the ball with six RBIs while throwing 𝟔 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟕 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬. Patrick and Ethan combining for 𝟏𝟎 𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟒 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬, giving us exactly what we needed every time they took the mound. Tripp staying ready and making the most of every opportunity. Down by five. One run at a time, these boys clawed their way back. They took the lead, battled into extra innings, and came up just one run short on a walk-off.

Was it heartbreaking? Absolutely.

But if you were there, you know the score isn't what we'll remember.

This group proved exactly what Trackside baseball is all about. The trophy would've been nice, but what these boys showed this weekend—heart, resilience, grit, and the willingness to play for the guy beside them—is something no trophy can measure.
