As everyone else says, Sal is truly the best!

One thing to add, if you're staying at one of the nearby hotels (Hilton, Even, Holiday Inn, Nu, Marriott, Sheraton, Hampton Inn, Tillary) and just visiting, single passes are available on Sal's website. While I'm a regular at Sal's small group classes, if I was traveling and looking to keep up my workouts, I'd be psyched to find a place like this.

It's a great workout, you're in and out in less than an hour, ready to take on your day (which will seem easy compared to what you just went through).

BTF is one of the best workouts in New York and Sal is one of the best trainers. He's incredible. He challenges every client, no matter their level, and creates a warm and friendly atmosphere in each class, encouraging, helping, and motivating everyone. He varies the workout every day and you leave feeling great --exhausted, but great.

I started going to Sal's classes last September and I haven't stopped since! The different combination of circuits, exercises, and drills will always continue to challenge you and make the class so much fun (along with the awesome pump-up music)!! This is by far the best class I've ever taken and makes you feel amazing afterwards. Furthermore, Sal is an amazing motivator, teacher, and person. He truly wants you to succeed and continue to progress every single class. Doing this class was one of the best things I've ever done for my body and mental limitations on what my body can do!

Everything you read about Sal is true. I've never had someone kick my ass and make me work harder while still being super friendly. I look forward to working out in the morning and always leave fully exhausted. Far and beyond the best personal trainer I've had. Worth every penny. I couldn't recommend Sal more for anyone who wants to work out; whether a beginner or trying to take your exercise to the next level.

I give Sal's personal training session my highest recommendation. I've been an athlete my entire life and I am very particular about the people I train with. I know the difference between a good trainer and a great trainer and Sal is GREAT! Whether you are a beginner or super athletic, Sal modifies the workout to your capabilities. He cares about your goals and takes the work out sessions seriously. He is always watching my form to make sure I am doing everything correctly and making sure I get the most out of every second of my work out. On top of it he is one of the most affordable personal trainers that I've trained with. He is friendly and very knowledgeable. I love his workouts and look forward to many more.

I loved BTF workouts . some classes are super intense which I like and some are less intense but more focused, which I also like:) ( don't worry you can see which class your going to before hand)
I started off with the three class pass from Groupon, and left feeling great after every single one! what a great way to start the day!
love these classes, I hope to continue with them

The classes at Brooklyn Total Fitness are second to none. There's a reason people keep coming back to Sal! He is a super talented trainer and coach and his classes push you to be your best, leaving you feeling so accomplished at the end of each one. I'm not in great shape and when I first started going to his classes I was far behind many of the others in the class, yet Sal has been the most patient and supportive trainer and has helped me find my threshold without pushing myself too hard and burning out. I've never seen my strength grow so quickly before. The classes themselves are never the same, challenging you in a new way each time, yet somehow they fly by and it's over before you know it. That's the sign of a great trainer! I'm so grateful to have found Brooklyn Total Fitness and highly recommend it!

I'd like to recommend both BTF's bootcamp and personal training sessions in the highest possible terms. If you only have time for one regular workout session in NYC, it should be Sal's Sunday bootcamp: there simply is no other class with the same intensity, energy, drive, and efficiency (and I've done over 220 classes on Classpass). After just one hour, you magically feel like you've worked out every single muscle in your body to the max, and it leaves you feeling accomplished, empowered, and energized for the week to come. Sal manages to adapt the exercises for every level and creates a fun, collaborative environment fueled by awesome personally-curated playlists that work extremely well with the flow of the class. He's also a motivating, professional, and highly attentive personal trainer that puts an impressive amount of time into developing exercises for each specific student. After just a few weeks, I'm already seeing results in my strength, posture, balance, and flexibility, as well as clear improvement in my performance in other athletic activities.
