I'm not too far removed from the year that changed my life. One day I was at 100, the top of the mountain, no knowing this peak was the bottom of the next. I rolled around in a valley of depression and confusion, fog and fatigue. What was once a regimented competition prep style workout routine, tapered to one day a week, then one day a month.
He was dying. I was dying.
Some days getting out of the bed to use the bathroom was my 100%
I'll spare the details. No therapy, friend, or video got me out of that funk. It was the day I decided to turn the page and quit looking back at the Gammorah that was my old self, crumbling into a pillar of salt.
Lack of sleep made me a zombie, and what made it worse is I embraced the zombie, the demon I gad became. I was Linus, my dirt cloud felt safe.
It took every ounce of will (and a depleting bank account) to understand that sleep wasn't the enemy... HUSTLE CULTURE was. All nighters meant nothing to me, bit everyone around me felt it. Heard it and Internalized the way I was moving.
Sleep is the backbone of recovery. Nothing can happen positively unless your sleep reserves are in tact.
For winding down I drank the Neural Charge. Eased my mind a bit and gave me a feeling of "its ok to finish tomorrow." And to stay asleep the "Nighfall No 5"
