Gypsea Charters

Had Arlan and gang out for their weekly charter. Day started out tough trying to find the bait. Once we did, it was on! Took a ride to the grounds and immediately had 3 on. Released a bunch of jumbo sized fish one one keeper in the mix. Always a pleasure having these gentlemen on board.

Capt Georgie had the boat out both AM and PM trips yesterday. The morning was red hot with a quick limit of slots and plenty of releases before we lost the tide and the bite.

The pm started off slower but once we found em it was game on! Lots of big fish in the mix to 45" with most of them having to be released and one slot for the table. Also managed a nice keeper fluke.

Two awesome groups on both trips, thanks for coming out ! Live bait was the ticket!

There are still plenty of bass around for those who want them!

Both boats out the last couple of days picking away and nice fluke and some really nice bass! Slow fishing at times, while good fishing at others. Plenty of big stripers Sent back and some slots to take home. Fluking remains the same, some really nice fish in the mix but slower on the action side. Had to deal with some really tough conditons lately but tomorrow look prime !

Beautiful weather yesterday and some good fluking! Had a great bunch of anglers on yesterday's open boat. They put plenty of fish in the box, with multiple keepers on quite a few drifts. Joe lead the way with 4 keepers orl and the pool fish, while Steve nailed 4 of his own orl. The kids also had a blast catching some nice fish as well. No jumbos today but a few 5 lb fish made their way to the net. We have to work hard for what we catch, but are getting it done! Lots of patience and persistence but the fish are there and the size is rewarding. Thanks for a great day on the water guys and girls!

Couple more bass trips in the books. Had Jacob, Rachel and family out yesterday and Arlan and friends out today. Picked away at them both days on the live bait, with overs and plenty of slots in the mix. Also did some chunking which was productive as well. There's plenty of fish still around!! Saturday we saw some very tough conditions and only picked some fish here and there. Today was the opposite as we had the ideal conditions and caught some really quality fish. Bounced around a lot but it added up by days end. A few limits were taken, and plenty of fish in the 4 to 6 lb range. Shun led the way with his limit to go along with the pool fish, just edging out Kenny who had a beauty as well. The short life isn't there but the size of the fish makes up for it. Thanks to everyone both days for sticking out the rain and wind. Now is the time to catch those jumbos!

We are definitely sailing tomorrow with a light crowd, and the weather and conditions look great.
