Fun day of togging on the Little boat for Mike's charter with a bunch of our regulars. Bounced around a bunch picking keepers off each drop. Also saw some good short life at times to keep the rods bent. Everyone went of with a couple of fish and a fun time had by all.

On the big boat, we had Gene and gang out for a bass charter. Unfortunately, nothing good to report. The readings were incredible but they didn't want to bite. Any day now it will bust wide open.

Had to work for them today!! The rain and wind didnt stop these sharpies from getting it done! Tough fishing on some drops, with great short life on others. The keepers came in flurries, and added up by day's end. Mike took down the big money pool with Eric taking down the second biggest fish pool. Huge thanks to everyone for showing up ready to fish! Definitely not ideal conditions but we work with what we have. As always, looking forward to the next one!

Opening day was tough for both boats with only a couple of keepers a drop. Did lots of searching, but found the same dull life everywhere we went.
Today was the total opposite, with a 6 man limit of quality fish on the Lil Gypsea with loads of shorts in the mix. Bounced around a few different areas with some being better than others. Overall, it was a very good day with awesome people and plenty if filets!

GOOD BASS FISHING!!

Yesterday's charter for Alan and Arlan with Capt Kyle was a good one ! We quickly made bait and were into fish immediately. It wasn't hot and heavy but a steady pick of all over sized fish. Made a move, and picked a few more to end the day. Always a pleasure with these gentlemen.

Today's trip was also a very good one with Capt Dillon finding them at first light! Bass blowing up all over with every rod doubled over. Slowed down as the day progressed but all in all was an awesome morning. Caught a bunch, lost a bunch and a great time all around. All big fish again today released back safely.

Sorry for the lack of pics fishing was hectic!

Both boats out bass fishing today. Unfortunately the conditions were horrible with wind against tide most of the day but we made the best of it. Definitely a slower bite than its been, but we were still able to land some real cows and even a few slots for the table! Grinded away on live bait and artificials and quite a few personal bests were taken. Thanks to both groups for coming out!

We will be swapping over to full day blackfishing from the 15th moving forward on all open boat trips. Striped bass charters are also available by request.

Unfortunately, we have gotten to this point. We have been trying to avoid raising prices despite the disaster going on with diesel prices for quite some time. For the rest of the season, we will be increasing the fare for all trips by 10$. As most of you know, we do not think twice about burning however much fuel it takes to give our customers the best chance at having a great day on the water and we don't want to change that. We will continue to produce the most enjoyable trip possible for all of our customers.

We have maintained our prices for many years despite cost increases in the industry. All rods, rigs, bait & tackle are all included in the fare. Those who fish with us know we provide all top of the line gear, bait, hooks and fluorocarbon all inclusive of the fare.

Both boats out bass fishing yesterday. On the Little boat, we saw very good action with lots of smaller fish with a couple slots mixed in.

On the big boat, we opted for the jumbos and were not disappointed. Took quite a bit of searching, but we were able to pick away at some really big fish. It was never hot and heavy but we did land quite a few and missed a bunch as well.

Doing it again tomorrow, with only a few spots available!

All fish have been taken on live bait and artificials.

We will be swapping over to full day blackfishing from the 15th moving forward on all open boat trips. Striped bass charters are also available by request.

The night bite continues to produce! We have seen fish of all sizes the past couple of nights, with overs, unders and slots all in the mix. Some nights the fish are inhaling the live baits while others it takes some time to get them going. Nonetheless, we have been seeing consistent action on all trips all on live bait. With the amount of fish moving and settling into the area, we should continue to see good fishing for the next few weeks. Now is the time to catch that night time cow!!! We have some availability this coming week. Thanks to both crews who came out for a fun night on the Little Gypsea.

Some nice slots, overs and unders released today aboard the Lil Gypsea. Morning started out red hot with lots of bites until it fizzled out. Looked around a bunch more but the tide was not in our favor. Luckily, the damage was already done!

Bass season is off to a great start and we have some upcoming availability!
