Gypsea Charters

Excellent fishing Sunday again with fish to 9 lbs! Robbie put together another all star group of sharpies who came ready to fish! We had them flying from the get go, with keepers and shorts coming up from the first drop until the last. Everywhere we went, we were able to find some keepers in the mix with a couple really good drops that had them coming up really well. Hot Dog nailed the big one of the day just over 9 lbs, while Franky and Spencer took down the pools with 5 and 6 lb fish of their own. Annette and Julio took down high hook honors, with a bunch of other limits had around the boat. Another awesome trip with a great bunch!

We are taking a pass on tomorrow and Thursday, back at it Friday!

Saturday aboard the Little boat saw a pick of keepers mixed in with non stop short life all day long. Had to work for them but everyone fished hard and needed through the shorts to put some meat on deck. On the Big Boat, we had a later charter for Davey along with friends and family. Countless shorts kept the rods bent with some nice keepers making their way to the net. Thanks to all for coming out on a beautiful day!

Wednesday we had Henry and family out for a gorgeous day on the water. They had a blast with steady short action and a good amount of keepers in the mix. The kids did an awesome job and bagged some really nice ones!

On Friday's open boat, Robin stole the show with a 9 lb 3 oz beauty! Uncle Joe took high hook honors with 7 keepers orl and everyone caught some. The short action was relentless but you had to w**d through them to get the keepers. Everyone fished hard and ended the day with a mess of flatties in the cooler.

We have plenty of space available the next couple days and the weather is excellent! The bigger fish are on the move and we have been on em!

Great day aboard the Little boat yesterday nailing a 6 man limit for an awesome crew. The morning started out pretty dull but we bounced around a bit and made it happen. The bites started coming and so did the keepers. Very good action from late morning until it was time to go home. Another awesome day on the water with a great group.

Capt Joey reported excellent fishing for Wednesdays small charter. They boxed up a 6 man limit in no time, releasing some lucky keepers for another day. Loads of bites everywhere we went, with some nice ones on every piece we hit. Had a blast with these guys and fishing was as good as it gets!

Tuesdays open boat saw an awesome crowd and some beautiful weather. Picked up where we left off and had keepers and shorts coming up right out of the gate. Bounced around a bit and put together a nice catch. Plenty of short life to keep rods bent and a good amount of nice sized keepers. Henry had the hot hand nailing 5 himself orl and Ramsey took down the pool with a beauty. Couple other limits around the boat and down from there. There are still plenty of fish around!

Tomorrows weather looks beautiful and we have plenty of room available !

Sunday's report - despite the monsoon in the morning, we had the fish going right from the start. Picked away at shorts and keepers for most of the morning until the tide turned. Unfortunately we only picked a few more but by then, we still had plenty of flatties in the cooler. Some nice ones hit the deck again with Santiago taking down the pool with a good one! Thanks to all for sticking out the rain, which actually turned into a blue bird day.

We are taking a pass on tomorrow with the current forecast, but Friday looks beautiful!

Excellent fluking on Saturday! Robbie assembled a crew of sharpies and they were dialed in on the bite! Was never fast and furious but we picked away all day and had some really good shots at keepers along the way. Loads of quality fish. The size was definitely nice to see. Beardo had the hot hand nailing 7 real nice keepers himself orl while Erik took down the money with a beauty. Another awesome trip in the books with some real good people. Looking forward to the next one !

On the Little boat, we continue to pick away at some nice keepers the last couple trips. The action has been slower than we are used to but we have been grinding out a decent catch by days end. Definitely not the fast action we have been seeing but there have still been plenty of nice fish in the mix. We have been covering lots of ground but some drops have been paying off thanks to all the crews who have been out lately and fishing hard!
