She's coming home.

For years, Phoenix was an important part of the Fit4Dance family. Even after moving to Florida during the pandemic, she continued teaching on our virtual schedule because that's just who she is—committed, passionate, and forever part of our community. Now she's living in Bahia, and we're so excited to welcome her back to Brooklyn for one very special experience.

A 2-Hour African Diaspora Movement Experience


✨ What to Expect:

🔥 THE SPARK
One hour of high-energy dance inspired by the rhythms and movements of the Caribbean and African Diaspora. Come ready to sweat, celebrate, and move freely.

🔥 THE SIZZLE
One hour of Yoga & Whine featuring gentle stretches, waistline activations inspired by Jamaican Dancehall, and yoga postures designed to help you restore, release, and reconnect.

This workshop is designed as a welcoming space for Empresses and EveryBODY—all levels are welcome.

Bring: Water, a yoga mat, towel or blanket, and your favorite people.

Wear: Anything comfortable that allows you to move freely. Bright colors, wraps, waist beads, leggings, activewear—come dressed in whatever makes you feel confident and expressive.

We can't wait to welcome Phoenix back to the Fit4Dance studio and share this beautiful experience together.

This one is extra special because we’ve literally watched Nika grow up! ❤️ She’s been part of the Fit4Dance family since she was in high school (and fun fact that many of you know: Ms. Carol was even her middle school teacher! 🥹). Now she’s teaching both our adult AND children’s classes and sharing her gifts with the next generation.

And what a gift she has! 🔥 Nika is an incredibly talented dancer who is taking her talent all over the world, and we couldn’t be prouder watching her continue to grow, perform, teach, and shine.

Beyond the talent, she is beautiful inside and out—kind, loving, humble, and such a special part of our F4D family.

We love you SO much, Nika! Happy Birthday! Keep dancing, traveling, growing, and showing the world what you can do. We’ll always be right here cheering you on!

Join Nika Anika N. for a high-energy, open-level dance experience where you’ll move, sweat, and vibe to some of your favorite music. This class blends a variety of dance styles with easy-to-follow movement, making it accessible and fun for all levels—no experience needed.

For over 5 years, Jewel has been such an important part of the Fit4Dance family. She keeps our front desk running, keeps our studio looking good, supports us in so many ways, and is always willing to step in wherever she’s needed.

But Jewel is so much more than what she does at Fit4Dance. She’s an amazing mother, a beautiful dancer, a supportive friend, and someone who truly cares about and shows up for her community. We’ve been lucky to have her growing right alongside us all these years.
