Meet Our New Intern, Jasmine! 💜
We’re excited to welcome Jasmine Clarke to the Fit4Dance family! Jasmine is joining us through the Brooklyn Recovery Corps (BRC) at Medgar Evers College, a program that connects students with Central Brooklyn nonprofits and small businesses for hands-on professional experience.

Jasmine is a Brooklyn native and Biology student with hopes of becoming a nurse. She actually attended high school just steps away from Fit4Dance, so we love that she now has an opportunity to learn, grow, and give back right here in her own community.

She describes herself as friendly, dependable, funny, and a little quiet at first—so when you see her around the studio, please say hello and help us give her a warm Fit4Dance welcome!

This October, Fit4Dance is proud to continue our longtime partnership with WeDeliverPeriod for our annual menstrual product drive. We’ve been collecting together since 2016, and this year we’re bringing that support even closer to home.
All pads and tampons donated at Fit4Dance throughout October will go to Brooklyn Community Services (BCS) to support women living in their shelters and supportive housing.

Period products are a basic necessity, yet they can be an added financial burden for individuals and families already navigating difficult circumstances. This is one simple way our Fit4Dance community can show up for our neighbors.

Bring an unopened package of pads or tampons to the studio anytime during October.
One pack. Two packs. A Costco size pack. It all adds up!

This year, we’re taking on Michael Jackson’s “Ghosts” and bringing it to life Fit4Dance style! 🖤🔥

We’ll spend three Wednesdays with .s.taylor & It’s Urban! ✨🎈• learning the dance and preparing to film our annual Halloween visual. If you’ve ever watched one of our videos and thought, “I want to do that!” — this is your chance.

🗓 Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 9/30–10/14
⏰ 8:30–9:30 PM
🎥 Additional weekend rehearsal + shoot date: TBD
💃🏽 All levels welcome!

Join Peniel Guerrier & Kriye Bode for this incredible workshop on October 17th celebrating 20 years of Kriye Bode!

Rabòday will tell a story of connection, culture, and transformation.

Through dance, drumming, conversation, and demonstration, we’ll explore folkloric Rabòday alongside the modern day music that shares its name. How do rhythm, movement , and language evolve as they travel through generations and culture? This workshop invites us to get curious: What do we recognize? How does knowing where something comes from deepen the way we experience it today? Together, we’ll discover what these expressions may share as we experience folkloric Rabòday in dance and drum to celebrate 20 years of Peniel Guerrier’s Kriye Bode dance community!
