On October 13, 2026, Grace, Katie, and Derek, representing White County NRCS and the Soil and Water Conservation District, visited Springboro Tree Farms to assess Spring Creek’s health. Observations included clear water with very low turbidity, a temperature of 18°C, good dissolved oxygen, and very low phosphate levels. Stoneflies, mayflies, abundant caddisflies, crayfish, and snails were observed. These findings were encouraging indicators of stream health.
