You don’t need to fit it back in the bag all the time. Just fold and collapse as short as you need, hammock attached or not. Weighs about 11lbs without ground anchors and extras. Try attaching hammock directly to head end toggle, letting out suspension as necessary only on the higher foot end: extra stable. More tilt gives you chair mode.
