Brooksville, Florida. Parisfield Brussels Griffons are healthy, happy, adorable American Kennel Club registered Brussels Griffons. They earn championships in AKC competitions.
This page is for Parisfield Brussels Griffons -- all the darling, sweet Griffies who have enriched the lives of their owners over the years. We are based in central Florida. Some of our Griffs have won breed championships, agility titles and other awards. Some are therapy dogs and visit the sick in hospitals. But most are the constant and beloved companions of their owners. They are the happy face the owner sees at the end of a long day, or the silly face that makes the owner laugh, or the sad face that wants to comfort you when you are feeling low. Every Griff is different, but they are all the same in wanting to be our best friends.
Operating as usual
Baily gets the young Griffs out for an evening romp around the farm.
Little Winnie, daughter of Neva and Skyler, watches everything that goes on around the farm.
[08/03/20] We weigh our Griff puppies every day for the first few weeks to make sure they are healthy and growing. Puppies are born at 4 or 5 ounces and gain at least ½ ounce a day; 1 ounce a day or more is better. These are 2 week old puppies getting their weigh-in with Breanna. Everbody gained, so we're happy!
Puppies weighed every day from birth to make sure they are gaining weight. Breanna weighs two week old babies.
We weigh our puppies every day! Here Megan is weighing 7 & 8 week old puppies. We start with weighing at birth. Brussels Griffon puppies gain at least ½ ounce a day, and more as they grow. By weighing, we know if a puppy is falling behind or ill.
Major arrived at his New York home this weekend. Sanford Kempner reports that he has been friendly and polite with his two new older Griff sisters. We all miss that adorable face!
This is our newest kennel helper, Megan. She is in Veterinary Assistance Course at Hernando High and also Agricultural studies with Mr. Ahrens. She is a science-fair winning dog lover, 15 years old, and a good worker.
Our baby Titan was overjoyed to meet his new family today -- April, Tippy & Grayson. He'll be living in the Tampa area so we can keep an eye on him. He is thrilled to have children to play with.
Then little Tilly met her new owner, Ryan. Her new name will be Chica. She took to him immediately, especially when she heard his plans to spoil her with gifts and treats! (He started by buying her own seat on the plane; now that's devotion!)
Little Major came through his heart surgery just fine, according to Dr. Callum Hay. He's as well as he could be, and we'll know more tomorrow. Prayers are answered!
Photo of Major on his way to the clinic. He loves car rides.
Our little Major, a belge rough son of Maisie and Alfie, has defect in his heart called a PDA (patent ductus arteriosus). He is having heart surgery on Monday by Dr. Callum Hay in Tampa. Our vet Dr. Brisbois explained that this is a mechanical defect, occurring when a bit of blood vessel fails to break away properly when the puppy is born. It is congenital, not genetic. We were shocked when it was discovered as Major is the most hard-charging, rowdy one of his siblings! He never stops and has endless energy. We are hopeful for a great outcome.
This is the beautiful, classic Griffy head of Bon Bon in profile. He came from a litter of 2 out of Clarabelle x Champion Jack. He lives a wonderful life in the San Francisco Bay area with his owner, Sand Chang. I never tire of looking at beautiful Griffies.
Lillibelle loves her new friend Mike Napoli, waiting for baseball to return with him.
Welcoming visitors to the farm, Sunday afternoon.

A wonderful visit from Trendee & Jimmy and Tot & Peach! We were so happy to see each other. We had to practice social distancing, but the Griffs said social distancing does not apply to them!
We sent three wonderful puppies off to the West Coast this week with Pet Nanny Simone White. Simone has been busy every day during the lockdown, flying puppies to new owners. Flights were constantly canceled, sometimes just moments before she boarded. When she couldn't fly to Los Angeles, she decided to rent a car and drive -- 2500 miles to LA, another 400 miles north to San Francisco, and then 700 miles north to Portland, Oregon. Wow! What a trip!
The most recent message from her read, "This is the most breathtaking trip of my life!"
Three couples are happy this weekend to have their new puppies safe at home. Simone is our hero.
Mookie is one brave Griff -- he runs right into the waves! Maybe he is trying to save his owner, Jonathan.
Retired Champion Jack happily ensconced in his Miami home with pal Pug Logan.
This is a son of Champion Skyler and Teegan. His new owners named him Dobby and he'll be on his way to San Francisco soon.
[03/26/20] Mookie has figured out how to tell his family when it's dinner time.
Mookie knows when it's dinner time! Mookie's parents are Kittichai and Champion Jack.
Breanna works on Radley; Baily cleans the ears of Fala.
Photos of one happy Brussels Griffon -- our smooth girl, Penny, off to her new home in Georgia, with Rich, a college professor who is now working from home, like all of us this week. She immediately knew they were her new family and fit right in, the best possible situation.
Joanie welcomes us home from Kentucky dog shows which were canceled because of coronavirus. Joanie excels in the Brussels Griffon's most unique trait, an almost human expression.
This photo is the Copthorne Griffs from the early 1900s in England. I love this photo as I see everything here that I get in litters; big ones, little ones, ones with big stiff ears and ones with nicely folded ears. Roughs and smooths. But all with typical Griff expressions.
On our way to the Brussels Griffon National Specialty in Louisville, Kentucky, with Champion Skyler. Three other Griffs went with Heather Stants in her minivan - Alfie, Teasel, and Neva.
Kennel assistants Baily and Breanna are in charge on the farm.
Proud of our young Parisfield Alfie -- he won his first championship points in Fort Lauderdale with Ely Betancourt last weekend! We haven't had a quality black and tan to show for many years. So happy to have the color back, which came in through Champion Skyler, his sire. Skyler is red but with many black and tan ancestors and he carries the gene. Ely's daughter Olivia approves!

Beautiful Amara is a champion! She is a daughter of Vanyatta and Kittichai. So proud of her as she won on a Specialty weekend. She is truly a beautiful Griffon.
