We had some MASSIVE personal records and a couple new team records today at the Floyd Central IHSAA Sectional!

Franklin County has won its first Unified Sectional championship in 7 years and it’s 3rd in team history! Congrats to all the competitors who competed at their highest career level today!

We’ve got an early meet at Floyd Central High School this Saturday at 10am and we can’t wait to battle!

Alex Johnson broke his own personal record in Shot Put last night by over a FOOT!!! +01-06.50 to be exact. Congrats Alex! We can’t wait to see what you can do at Sectionals next week!

Jordan Koeller and Aiden Johnson both PRed in Long Jump last night! Aiden by over a foot and Jordan by over 2 feet!!

A 7 year old team record fell last night as Ava Reese hit a HUGE personal record of 12-03.75, just 2.75 inches better than Kendyl Brack’s record from 2017!

Ava also PR’ed in both Long Jump AND shot put! Great job Ava!!!
