Wonderful day with my good friend Peter .to.perform and learning all about NeuX Technologies.
I first met Peter 2019 in New York at Functional golf System program Gray Institute.
Moving along now with life changing technology helping our clients feel, move and live better.
Today I got to demo neuxtec, moving in all three planes of motion.

Congratulations back on top of the box performing and pain free.
Abi reached out to me back in February wondering if I could help her. Was in her 3rd week off 8 weeks not dancing with injury.
All injuries in the foot.๐ค
Injury happens when the load exceeds the tissues capacity ๐๐
Abi joined the team and took a 3 Dimensional approach to her conditioning for dance as she certainly dances in all 3 planes of motion and such is life.
Irish dance is all about TURNOUT creating a lot of imbalances and when one area is overloaded somewhere else has to take the load and overtime PAIN will appear.
Understanding what make AFS (applied functional science different)
Physics - Understanding how the human body moves in space.
Biology - Understanding the human body.
Behavioral science- Understanding the drivers that affect the body and how it moves.

Another workshop done and dusted and new habits are forming.
1. Building a strong foundation for dance in
BAREFEET.
2. Thinking movement over muscles in all three
Planes of motion. (SFT)
3. Understanding that STAMINA is functional
Breathing in 3D.
4. TURNOUT๐ค๐ค. Think SPINE๐๐ง
5. STRETCHING. THINK BIG 6
6. RECOVERY IS A SKILL? - Not sitting on phone in
Recovery boots๐ซฃ๐ซฃ
7. Your CORE is your EYES to your TOES and the
List goes on.
Unfortunately the traditional approach does not
Work very well for a lot of dancers and
Especially those who are hypermobile .

Wonderful workshop introducing to 3D Functional Movement for Irish Dance.
Dancers talk a lot about FLEXIBILITY but my question is ? . Does your dancer have MOSTABILITY

Dancers are always looking for more ways to improve performance and at the same time trying to avoid overuse injuries๐ซฃ
On Angelsteam Mobility is the ability of your joints to move through a given range of motion and Stability is the ability to control that.
Mobility without stability can lead to poor movement patterns leading to injuries. ๐ค
Instability then will send signals to the Brain๐ง ๐ง and the nervous system creating tension as it feels threatened. Now the body will find stability elsewhere and this compensation is the tightness that a lot off dancers sense.
Now what?
