The volleyball team continues its tonight at home. The Jags host the Miners from Prospect Ridge starting at 4:30pm. Varsity starts at approximately 6:30pm.

The Miners are second place in 3A Metro with a 12-6 overall record. In league, they are 6-1, with the loss coming at the hands of Forge Christian earlier this month. Offensively, the team is led by two seniors, Delaney Ash and Brianna Bransom. Ash leads 3A Metro in assists, and Bransome is 3rd in kills. They'll be a difficult duo to keep at bay.

The match is part of a varsity double-header night. Those wishing to watch both games and enter and exit the main gym through the west gym door, accessible via the south side of the grandstands. There is no extra charge for being a spectator for both games.

In a season filled with expectations, the Jags have delivered. Goal after goal. Win after win. Tonight, the team wraps up the regular season against an all-time rival, Colorado Academy. Varsity kickoff is at 6:30pm here at home.

The Mustangs are having an off year for their standards. With six wins overall, including four in league, the team is 23rd in 3A. But don't let their record fool you into thinking this will be a cakewalk. CA always brings it.

With a win tonight, the Jags will, at minimum, have a share of the league title. With a Kent Denver loss against Eagle Ridge, the Jags will win the league outright.

Tonight's game is part of a varsity double-header here at home. Like last time, students and spectators will be able to go from the soccer game to the volleyball game via the south side of the grandstands and the west side door to the main gym. There is no extra charge to attend both games.

Tuesday night is one of the biggest fall nights you'll see here at Secondary. We have a HUGE varsity double-header for you.

The high school soccer team hosts league rival Colorado Academy. With a win, the Jags will have a good chance at winning the Metro League title outright and end the season undefeated and atop of all 3A soccer teams in Colorado.

The high school volleyball team faces another Metro powerhouse Prospect Ridge. The Jags are on a historic run this season and this match has huge post-season implications with only a few games left in the regular season.

Both games start at 6:30pm at Secondary. Those wishing to watch both games will have the ability to go back and forth throughout the night.

The high school cross country teams are heading to Regionals on Thursday and looking to show 3A schools what our teams are made of. Expect both teams to fill up the Top 25 and solidify a Jags presence at State.

We better see you all out there on Tuesday night, Jags.

The boys continue to roll down the !

Last night, the Jags sent another team packing with a 4-0 win against Denver Christian. This was the team's twelfth win of the season overall and sixth in the league. The win widens their lead against Kent Denver to two games, with two games left on Kent's regular-season schedule. If the Jags defeat Colorado Academy on Tuesday and Kent drops a game or comes to a draw, the league championship belongs to the Jaguars.

About last night, two words...Arnel Mehidic. Mehidic's rise this season has been fun to watch. As a sophomore, he has been a force on the field, strengthening the Jags' offensive attack. In 14 games this season, Mehidic has scored 14 goals, with three two-goal games and one hat trick against Holy Family. Last night was no different as he opened up the Jags' scoring with two first-half goals.

The second half featured some spectacular play by the Jags, keeping a strong Thunder team at bay and scoring two more goals to seal the win. The first second-half goal came off the head of senior Seth Lane on a great corner from fellow senior Mason Spicer. Spicer added the fourth goal for good measure (along with two assists).

Junior Gunnar Nygren has also been an emerging force for the Jaguars, registering assists in multiple games this season. Last night, Nygren had two assists, bringing his season total to six. His calm play has given the Jags another level of depth in the midfield.

The Jags wrap up the regular season next week at home against Colorado Academy on the 20th. It's another double-header with volleyball!

The boys locked in their 11th win of the season last night, defeating the Wildcats from The Academy, 6-0.

Matteo Gagliano (Jr) started the scoring with a beautiful header off a corner, and from there on out...it was all JAGS. It was Gagliano's 17th goal of the season. He leads 4A/3A/2A Metro in goals, is second in points.

Joining in on the scoring were seniors Mason Spicer and Jack Kane, and junior Preston Orrell, with a goal apiece. Sophomore Arnel Mehidic knocked in two goals, bringing his season total to 12. Spicer added two assists in the win.

Spicer continues to lead the state, not just 3A, in assists. He's 96th in the nation in assists. His 38 points for the season are the best in 4A/3A/2A Metro.

Adding assists in the win were Gunner Nygren (Jr), Ben Rocco (So), and Gagliano.

Next up, the Jags head to Denver Christian tomorrow night for a 7:00pm game.
