Hello Jags! We hope that your summer is all that you hoped it would be. We wanted to share a little bit of news with you from the Athletic Department. On July 25th, the Jaguars Basketball program will be hosting its annual Car Wash/Youth Clinic at Secondary!
The clinic is open to JA and Summit Academy students in grades 3rd - 8th and is from 10am - 2pm. The clinic will be held inside the school in both gyms. Please follow the registration link below to sign up!

If that's not enough to get you to stop by the school, the basketball teams are also hosting their car wash starting at 11:00am. $10 per car!

Have you ordered your peaches yet?!?!
Summer is here and you know what that means, the JA Athletics Peach Sale!
Every summer, we work with our friends on the western slope to help raise funds to offset the costs of equipment, uniforms, and other program needs for our student-athletes. This is one of the biggest and easily the most delicious ways to help out the department!
This year's crop unfortunately does not include pears due to the spring frost.
Half boxes of palisade peaches are $45. Full boxes are $75. All orders are tax deductible.
Follow the link in our bio for the order form! Orders should arrive on campus in mid-August. The last day to order is July 30th.
Thank you for your continued support of JA Athletics and our amazing student-athletes!

The CHSAA All-State Honors for baseball came out earlier this week and our own, Ben Pederson, received Honorable Mention!
This season, Ben was a workhorse on the mound. He was 3rd in 3A Metro in Strikeouts (81) and 8th in ERA (3.32). His 81 strikeouts this season was four short of the school record.
Ben was also a star at the plate. His .383 batting average was 16th in the league. Ben led the team in batting average, hits (23), RBIs (16), slugging percentage (.517), and doubles (5). He was 2nd in runs (13) and stolen bases (10). Ben was one of two varsity Jaguars who put one over the fence. Class of '26 grad, Ethan Noble, was the other.
Please join us in congratulating Ben on an amazing season!

Looking for a way to help out JA Athletics and have a lot of fun doing it? Get your pickleball paddles ready, Jags...you have the summer to prepare!
On Sunday, August 16th, the Jefferson Academy Athletics department is hosting Paddles for a Purpose: A Pickleball Fundraiser Tournament!
Taking place at the Simms Street APEX Rec Center, teams of two will compete to be the inaugural JA Pickleball champions while helping offset the costs for equipment, uniforms, and other program needs for our student-athletes.
Our goal is not only to raise funds for our athletic programs but also to provide an opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and enjoy each other's company at the start of a new school year at JA.
We invite high school students and adults to sign up for this great event. Each registration is $50/team. Each team consists of two players. Follow the link in our bio to register!
Whether you are an experienced player or simply looking for a fun way to support Jefferson Academy Athletics, we would love to have you join us.
The countdown is on!
