Look forward to more open parking spots and shorter wait times at facility public chargers! The City and County of Broomfield will implement new tiered rate fees at all CCOB-owned EV charging stations starting Jan. 4, 2027. This update ensures fair station turnover so more community members can plug in before hitting the gym, the pool or an active adult class.

Rates include $0.15 per kWh charging from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., $0.25 per kWh charging from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. and a $0.40 per minute dwell fee after a 30-minute grace period. Every dollar collected goes into a dedicated revolving fund to support reliable station operations, equipment maintenance and future EV infrastructure. Get all the details and view facility charging hours at Broomfield.org/EV.
