🦈💙 FIRST 12U TOURNAMENT IN THE BOOKS! 💙🦈
Our Sharks Brownsboro girls officially played their first tournament at the 12U level this weekend! It may not have ended exactly how we wanted, but there was still SO much to be proud of. This group showed us a lot this weekend, and we’re excited about where they’re headed!
We had so many girls step up! 👏
🔥 Ella made an impact on both sides of the ball all weekend and finished Sunday with a HUGE performance in the circle! 12 strikeouts in five innings!
💪 Harper had a big weekend at the plate, including going 2-for-2 with a triple and 2 RBIs on Sunday!
🥎 Brynlee collected multiple hits in our first 12U win and gave us a great start in the circle with a scoreless inning!
💙 Alice came through with a big two-run double Saturday and was solid for us at first base!
🦈 Kora stepped up with a hit
👏 Brylee came through Sunday with an RBI single to help us jump out to an early lead!
And just as important, there were SO many contributions that don’t always make it into the stats. Girls working walks, moving runners, making plays, backing each other up and doing whatever their team needed. We even turned a double play and played an error-free game in our first 12U win! 🙌
There’s plenty for us to go back to work on, but there’s also a whole lot to be excited about. This was their first taste of 12U, and they showed us they’re ready to compete, learn and keep getting better together.
One tournament down and a whole season of growth ahead of us. Proud of these girls and ready to get back to work! 💙🦈
