Are you crafty, creative and enjoy Halloween?! Consider entering the Scarecrow Decorating Contest on Sunday, October 11th at the Brownstown Trick or Treat Trail Event!

Simply email Beautification/Historical Commissioner Jacqueline Etzel at [email protected] to get more information and register.

Scarecrows will displayed at the front of the Brownstown Event Center and will be judged by participants of Trick or Treat Trail!

The winner of the contest, as voted on by the people, will receive a $50 Home Depot Gift Card. Register NOW!

Congratulations to the 2026 Summer Beautification Award Winners, Ms. Lori Buday and Mr. and Mrs. James and Pam Dylewski! The Brownstown Beautification Historical Commissioners selected their homes on front yard landscaping, neatness, and maintenance. Both winners received special yard signs and a Home Depot gift card.
