It's never easy finding support in our little corner of the world here in Brownsville, TX. Incredibly, sometimes it just walks in through your door. A truly kind and altruistic gentleman by the name of RC Vittitoe with "Vittitoe Trades' Turks & Caicos International Municipality Financial Mining Corp." came to visit us last week.
He brought with him a $1000 donation and 15 Academy sports gift cards for gear and equipment to distribute to our kids.
God knows we needed this. It isn't easy to maintain a non-profit. It takes a lot of selflessness and resources. However, I can assure that the mental and physical challenges that our children face everyday are much greater. It takes a lot of fight to keep going. It's a good thing thats what we teach here.
