Barnes and his staff constantly study trends and technological advancements in the fi****ms, ammo and self defense industry in order to give students the best training possible along with the TN state handgun permit class. The facilities at SIFT are very safe, family friendly and professionally run. Since 1999 SIFT has grown from one to four on-site gun ranges due to increasing demand. State lines do not erase constitutional rights.

The Fifth Circuit just struck down a federal rule that forced lawful handgun buyers to use an extra dealer, pay extra fees, and wait longer solely because they bought from across state lines.

The government called it regulation. The court recognized what it was: a burden on the right to acquire the arms people have a constitutional right to keep and bear.

This is the GAU-8/A Avenger, a 30mm Gatling-style autocannon that serves as the primary weapon of the A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog." It features seven rotating barrels and is so massive and powerful that the A-10's airframe was built around it.

The GAU-8/A utilizes a hydraulic drive system and is capable of a firing rate of approximately 3,900 rounds per minute. It fires 30×173mm ammunition, with an ammunition drum capable of holding up to around 1,174 rounds.

During firing, the seven barrels rotate sequentially to minimize heat buildup and reduce the load on each individual barrel.

Interestingly, the GAU-8/A is not merely a weapon mounted onto the A-10; the aircraft was specifically designed around this gun. The nose of the aircraft positions the cannon's barrels very close to the fuselage centerline to help maintain firing accuracy.
