New class alert!! 🚨🚨
Heated strength is a full-body strength training class held in a heated room, typically 80-90°F. The warmth is used to increase mobility, promote blood flow, and add a light cardiovascular challenge — but the main focus is still strength, picking up heavy weights. Not all about the sweat in this one.

Belated goodbye for now to the amazing 🥲🥲
Savannah has been a friend of ours for as long as can remember , and after practicing with us as a member for super long she joined the staff as a vinyasa teacher and brought such amazing energy at all times to Focus!
Savannah, we will miss you so much in the studio but are very thankful for you and can’t wait to see you soon and hear about your summer !!! Much love 🥰🥰

Have you wanted to take ballet but don’t know where to start?
Join us at Focus Bryn Mawr this summer for an Adult Ballet Series running June & July!
No experience required, ages 17+
Over the course of 6 weeks, you will learn ballet terminology, barre work, center work, and jumps! Taught by Pilates Instructor , who has her B.A. in Dance Education and Performance, this course will go into the basics of ballet and will have an optional showcase at the end of the course to show your friends and family the work you have learned.
Bring a notebook, something to write with, water, and a snack. Wear form fitting clothes so your alignment can be seen! Ballet shoes or barefoot for class. Nonheated!

Ladies and gentleman, this is what legends are made of. Our 9:30 pilates instructor unfortunately couldn’t make it this morning but have no fear … did not BLINK and did an amazing job filling it and teaching for 23 (!!) people , when it was either gonna be her , someone else enrolled in the class , or a girl from youtube on my phone 🤷♂️

Yoga Shapeshifting is a therapeutic, non-heated movement practice developed by Mary Jarvis to heal injuries, particularly spinal issues, through targeted, non-heated exercises. It blends specific, repetitive poses and, at times, ballet-inspired movements to improve posture, strength, and flexibility. It is designed to restructure the body, aiding in rehabilitation and enhancing overall mobility for all levels.
Practitioners will increase their strength, flexibility, stamina, and improve their posture. It is described as a life-changing practice that can complement other yoga or fitness routines.
Over half of all the World Yoga Asana Champions have used this practice to help reach the highest levels, but it is also designed for ALL body types and levels. All you need to do this practice is a spine! Hope to see you all in class soon!
