"Twisted Crescent" is a 20-minute RESET class that focuses on one of yoga's most popular twisting poses. When twisting in the torso, it is important to maintain core connection, shoulder centration, and neutral pelvis. This allows us to get the most out of this posture by elongating the sides of our body and focusing on rotating from the thoracic spine.

Slow down to feel the burn. In Slow-Burn we utilize slower movements with repetition to target specific muscle groups. Build strength, stability, and confidence in this class by taking your time to integrate each new movement into your body.

Today’s movement is to help mobilize the hips and shoulders while freeing up the torso. We’ll just call it a “Lara” move because that’s where I got it, practicing the with my teacher .heimann .
Lara teaches yoga teachers to move intelligently by learning to trust our intuition with the power of knowledge. This allows us to be the movement, to be the moment. Which for me is what yoga has always been about, connecting.

Let’s hit the RESET button on side planks. “Modified Side Plank" is a 15-minute LYT method yoga session dedicated to this challenging asymmetrical balancing pose. When held properly, modified side plank is a pose that will strengthen the body and help to integrate the core.
