Amkor Bryn Mawr Summer 2020 Schedule: Please take the time to read:
Hello to everyone,
I hope you are all doing well and had a great holiday weekend. Thank you to those of you that have been attending lessons. I think everyone is now at least tangentially, if not personally, familiar with Zoom fatigue. I am very excited to expand the schedule and to be teaching in person again!
Our new schedule will be a combination of small group classes, zoom classes, and private lessons. IN order to manage class size, classes will be organized by belt rank in a similar fashion to the original zoom schedule. Dojang procedures will be as follows - the schools "touch points" are sanitized everyday before and then after class. Students are required to use hand sanitizer prior to training and there will be no partner drills. Students are to be dropped off only - apologies, parents, no waiting or congregating in the the entry area. Of course you are welcome to watch through the window at pick up for as long as you like. Finally, I ask that all students and parents keep in person class adjustments and time accommodations to an absolute minimum. Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions or concerns or to schedule a private lesson.
Thanks again and I hope to see you soon!

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. I know that these are uncertain times and there are some families who may be in difficult situations financially. I know also that the online classes we have been doing for the last couple of weeks are not equivalent to the the way that our school typically operates. I would never demand a payment for something that is not what was originally agreed upon. However, I am still obligated to pay the rent for our school that we cannot meet in at the moment. It is for this reason that I am asking that anyone who can to please continue to pay the monthly tuition. I would like to continue to run our school once all of this is behind us but in order to do so we need to make it through the coming weeks or months where these extraordinary circumstances are forcing us to remain separated.
There are a couple payment options. For Venmo my identifier is -Kremin. Checks can also be mailed to the school (AmKor Karate, 600 W. Lancaster Ave, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010).
To those of you who have already paid for this month, my sincere thanks. To all of you, I can't tell you how much your support means to me. I love teaching karate and want to give all of my students positive, formative experiences while training in our school. That I have been able to continue doing this in any capacity under these circumstances is remarkable. A very special thanks to Samee Ali for all of your technical help and to Po and Lillian Lim for your administrative and logistical support. Please, as always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you. Respectfully,
--
