Follow us on this amazing journey as we go through the process of training a service dog for Greyson. Thanks for visiting!
Greyson is a very bright, smart, active, hardworking and overall happy boy. He loves being outdoors, playing with trucks, riding his quad and hunting. When he was 4 years old he was observed to have Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). Greyson has trouble processing the senses into appropriate responses. He has come a long way in his short life and although he does well in school, speech therapy, sp
ecial education groups and in every day situations, he still has trouble with emotions and sensory overload. After a lot of research and consideration, we have decided to raise and train a puppy to be Greyson's Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD). After extensive obedience training and certification, Greyson's PSD will learn his baseline behavior and anytime he deviates from it, his dog will perform the task or tasks associated with the behavior and aide in his ability to cope with his condition and ultimately improve his quality of life.
