It’s race day at duel of the desert!!

It was a good day today! Qualified 3rd, great start in the prefinal putting me 1st by turn one and lead 90% of the race before settling for 2nd. Had another great start in the final giving me the lead into turn one and lead over half the race with some hard battling and ended up 2nd overall and in class!

Good start to day 1 at the ! Missed practice yesterday and with a couple new turns added I needed to learn fast. Was 3rd fastest in practice one and dropped a few more tenths in practice two. I have the speed to run up front I just need to keep it there!

Some final touches for rounds 3&4 of the at concept haulers this weekend!

Almost ready for the next round of the can’t wait to break in and see what this can do!

This is a weekend that’ll I’ll never forget! Black Perl Racing gave me an opportunity to race in a car for my first time! It took some getting used to but I was able to best my lap times by over 8 seconds from my first run to my last! Today went great for the team and with everyone’s efforts we were able to run from 35th all the way up to 15th overall out of 51 total cars and 3rd in our class.

Another great run today! Found almost 2 seconds bringing my laptime down to a 3:02.1 vs a 3.03.9 from yesterday. I moved us up 16 spots overall bringing us to 21st overall and up 3 spots in class putting us 6th!

Great first day in a car. Started my first run with a 3.10.2sec lap. After talking with the owner of the car and trying a few different things on track I was able to get done to a 3.03.9 in my second run and fast lap for the team was a 3.03.4. Super happy with my progress today and hope I can set the fastest lap tomorrow!!

This will be an interesting weekend racing for Me since I will not be racing in a kart but instead got offered a spot on a team to run an endurance race at Road America in a spec miata! I’m super excited to run the big track again and try something new!!

Coming home with some hardware!!
