The Academy of Ballet was established in 1985 in Enumclaw WA by Sandra and Glen Hasstedt. In 2016 the Academy transitioned to Buckley WA and Bethany Payne took over as the Artistic Director/Owner. The Academy holds two outstanding performances a year, a winter show and our annual end of the year performance in June. Our dance seasons start in September and ends in June with the summer months off for a nice little break for the kiddos. If you’ve been interested in getting started, don’t hesitate to give us a call or send a message! We can’t wait to have you at the studio!

Not only was this an exciting first week of Season 42, but we also revealed our 2026–2027 Competition Team dances to our dancers!!! 🌟✨

This week was filled with SO much excitement in the studio, and we can’t wait to get back to it Monday!!

I am beyond excited for this season and so proud of every dancer who came out and auditioned.

This year’s auditions were by far our biggest yet, and the amount of talent in the room made these decisions incredibly difficult.

Congratulations to everyone who made a team! I can’t wait to get started and see what this season has in store.

We have so many exciting things planned, and I truly believe this is going to be our best season yet.
