My name is Tim McCluskey and thank you for taking time to read my profile! I've been hunting and fishing in Maine since I was tagging along with my father when I was six years old. I've brought my children up teaching them about the outdoors: to appreciate what we have and enjoy the hunt or fish trip, even if the game pole or creel isn't filled. I offer bear, deer, turkey, ruffed grouse (partridge) and predator (coyote, fox, bobcat) hunts and an occasional moose hunt. I also offer open water & ice fishing trips for brook trout, salmon, togue (lake trout), and bass. Lakes I spend a lot of time on: Schoodic Lake, Moosehead Lake, Pleasant Lake, and Cold Stream Pond. I ice fish these and some others too, including snow sledding into Big Houston Pond in February. I am a one-man operation who is guiding on the side, so I keep my client ratio low to provide a good, and most importantly, SAFE experience. I take any age client and specialize on kids and first-timers of any age or gender. Of course, experienced hunters are super to have and I am passionate about giving them a great experience too! I charge by the day or week and pricing will include meals. Please call for dates and pricing. I look forward to taking you out in the woods & waters to give you a great Maine experience!

Sorry for yet another moose safari post so close to the others in the last two days. But these got lost on my SD card when my computer acted up. These were all from one trip with a wonderful couple (I think from PA if I’m remembering correctly.)

We saw 8 moose which is an August record for me! Seven of them hung with us, posing like models!

I’m especially fond of the bird pics here: a Canadian Jay a.k.a. Whisky Jack (one of my favorites…they’re so tame!) The other is a heron. It was standing behind the bull in the stream and I didn’t see it until it took flight and headed right at us! It landed not too far in front of us.

So glad I found these pics as it was a phenomenal trip with a wonderful couple!

Northwoods Outfitters in Greenville is THE BEST to work for. I have two great bosses who’ve always taken great care of me. My other few guide colleagues are the best.

Had a superb trip with an excellent family this morning guiding for Northwoods Outfitters. (They gave me permission to post their pic). We saw five moose this morning!

They were so appreciative of everything…families like this make my weekend! Again, this is the best job. It’s extremely rewarding being part of something so special to people who will never forget their experience!
