We are so excited to welcome Lauren Scheurich to Lake County Haven as our new Dance Instructor in the Day Program!

Dance is so much more than movement. It can be a wonderful way to manage stress, anxiety, and depression, lift our spirits, build confidence, and simply have a little fun. We love giving the women in our program opportunities to discover new ways to care for themselves—and we think dancing is a pretty great one!

Lauren has been dancing since she was a child, and her love for teaching began when her own dance teacher asked her to assist with a class. That experience sparked a passion for instructing that has stayed with her ever since.

We are thrilled to have Lauren sharing her love of dance with the women at Lake County Haven and look forward to seeing the joy, energy, and positive impact she brings to our Day Program.

Our company dancers kicked off our season with our annual performance at the Schaumburg Boomers game. Shout out to three of our senior dancers for the fabulous choreography!

Meet the Cast!

Grace Schubert (Ballet Corps/Ensemble) is excited to be making her musical theatre debut in Anastasia. Grace is no stranger to the stage, having grown up dancing at Studio 83 Academy of Dance, where she was a competitive dancer for 12 years. She began dancing at age three and has continued to pursue her passion for the arts as a dance teacher and choreographer at Studio 83. Grace is grateful for the opportunity to explore a new form of storytelling and share the stage with such a talented cast.

Grace says, "I could not be more thrilled to put my love of music and dance into a new light as a part of my first musical. Being part of Anastasia has been an incredible opportunity to grow, learn, and create something magical with such a talented cast."

Continuing on with our senior sendoff with the stunning She has been dancing with us for many years, in classes and in the company. She also works at the studio as a dance camp counselor and as a teaching assistant, helping to inspire the next generation of little dancers. She will be headed to University of South Florida in the fall and we will miss her so much!

It’s that time of year and first up for our senior sendoff is the gorgeous .l10
She has been dancing with us all the way back from when she was a bitty ballerina. She will be off to Lake Forest College in the fall and we are going to miss her so much!
