We’re excited to grow our Snyder Elite Training groups for 2026-2027. These programs are designed for athletes ages 7-18 who want to take their track & field training to the next level: Snyder Elite Distance, Snyder Elite Sprints & Jumps, and Snyder Elite Throws.
These groups aren’t about “who’s the best.” They’re about who’s dedicated, motivated, and ready to put in work while still having fun and enjoying the process.
If you’re ready to grow in the sport of track and field, this is a chance to train year-round with us.
Each program involves a monthly membership that includes:
-One structured practice each week
-Free access to Tuesday Open Hours, where athletes can use the facility and work on technique
-Flexible enrollment — start or stop anytime
-Elite training group shirt
-Discounts on other Snyder Track and Field programs
On top of weekly training, we’ll build in a few optional competition opportunities throughout the Winter/Spring.
The Elite Training program will begin mid-September and run until May, with days off for holidays. It will pause June–August while athletes and coaches focus on our summer club team, and then return in September 2027.
**While these programs are designed to improve track and field performance, they can also be used to improve endurance, speed, strength, and agility for other sports.
Information and registration (when open on 8/1) can be found here: www.snydertrackandfield.com/snyder-elite

Making the most of a smokey situation.
Our coaches are great at pivoting when needed, so today’s camp was full of indoor fun to avoid the smokey air outside.
We will still be holding our Friday camp track meets tomorrow and will adjust as necessary based on conditions.

For the 1500, we had a full army competing. In the 9-10s, Leighton had a fantastic finish for 2nd place! Ryan had an enormous PR (also got his 400 and 800 PR en route) and Camden E ran well and then really shined in his 800 later in the day. For 11-12 1500s, Max took 6th and teammates Adam and Camden S ran great PRs (Adam and Camden also had great sub-3 PRs in the 800). Molly ran a 20 second PR and Ruth was seconds off her best.
For 13-14 1500s, Evelyn ran a PR of 5:18 also ran a PR 800 later in the day) and Aubree finished strong and also had a PR 800 later on. and for 15-16s, Carmelo ran strong and got close to his PR. This crew will be a force for XC 👀 Hudson ran a very strong 800 in his first year with us. We also had 2 13-14 shot putters - Noah placed 10th in shot and Kate took 4th in a strong field of 13!
Just making it to this meet is an accomplishment and we’re so proud of these athletes. They work hard, push themselves to be great, and they support their teammates across age groups. Thank you to the families who gave up their weekend to be here and represent our club. It means the world to us.
