A few of our players participated in media day for BTPM Friday Night Lights. Grand Island will face Williamsville East on October 16th at Home for this Game. #2 Riley O’Brien #5 Blake DeLoreto #8 Anthony Mantione and #58 Robert Cieri all took part in this event! Go Vikings!

Grand Island was well represented at Section VI Media Day at the new Highmark Stadium. They were able to tour the field and locker room and go through interviews. Head Coach Dean Santorio and Assistant Coaches Steve Steck and Mike Stauffer along with Senior WR/DB # 5 Blake DeLoreto OL/DL # 58 Robert Cieri OL/DL #54 Christian Kochanowski and Junior QB/LB #8 Anthony Mantione all enjoyed the day put on by Section VI Football and the Buffalo Bills.

We would like to Congratulate Senior Andrew Kozlowski on being named 1st Team All WNY Character Award Recipient. He was one of 12 players Honored at a luncheon at Ilio DiPoalos Restaurant. We would like to thank Cross Training Athletics for honoring Andrew with this Award! He is very deserving of this recognition.

Our Boys ended the season with a tough loss to a very talented McKinley Macks football team! We are so proud of the effort our guys gave all year long! Thank you to our Seniors who are moving on!
