One of my favorite lessons to teach is

Some of what we talk about is, Mental Training. Developing a plan. Practice visualization. Practicing the plan. Training for real life. Controlling an encounter.

I appreciate being apart of Agencies that mandate their officers to train annually. Some of the best training I've had were Amherst PD SWAT in Active Shooter, and a Federally (contracted) agency I was with doing M4 rifle and annual Active Shooter trainings. I've been training in Active Shooter since 2016 and I make sure to keep it up annually.

I hate that the response to "gun situations" such as the recent Tops Supermarket is always "ban guns." The 2 individuals were already carrying illegal ghost guns, you have to be special to think a "No Guns" sign is a criminal deterrence 😂

Invest in a gun safe for your vehicle and lock the cable under your seat. So when you have to go into places you can't carry i.e, schools, government buildings, etc, you can safely store your firearm. If, big "if" you don't have one, lock in your glove box and park your car in a space too obvious for anyone to target in public, but please get one of these. ****msafety ****mstraining ****mseducation

To me these signs just scream "Easy Mass Shooting Target." This doesn't prevent criminals from pursuing their objective. It only disarms citizens from legally being able to protect themselves.

Let's be real. You think if Tops would have had these signs up Peyton Gendron (Tops shooter) would have stopped at the door like "awe man I can't come in with my gun?"and 7 less lives would have been taken? Yea, ok!
