Ear equalization isn’t just for divers. Dr. Logue helps patients master this essential skill even inside a hyperbaric chamber. And it’s not just the patients; everyone who enters the chamber (doctors, nurses, and technicians) must know how to equalize ear pressure. “As a scuba instructor, I try to spend a lot of time talking to the divers about ear equalization as I'm teaching them. Because we often do our initial pool sessions in a pool that's not very deep, oftentimes we aren't able to tell if a diver's really having trouble or not.
