Walked in under the stars, saw the sun rise slowly and nature come to life. Hooked 2 and landed 2 really pretty fish. Can’t ask for much more on a Wednesday in late October! I have some dates left in November and December. Hit me up if you want to get out there!

The elusive Lake Erie Salmon - a very pleasant surprise! I could see a tail just barely visible behind some faster rips under some bubbles, what I thought was a Steelhead turned out to be a fight filled King. Tight lines!

I feel like this picture is an insult to this fish, measured it at 32”! Fun day with too many landed to count. Just perfect water and weather.

Pretty unique fight with this hen, I swung my fly into a hole and bam. Fight was on. When she shot into the shallows she had two males chasing after her. They were quite stubborn and wouldn’t give way. They damn near swam into my net when I scooped the female up!

Sam’s second day out with me this winter and it’s been really fun to watch him grow and learn new tactics on the fly. Albeit a slow day yesterday, we were still able to get 3 into the net!

Man oh man, this was one beautiful fish. Just barely saw its tail as I was walking by some faster pockets. Second pass through and the fight was on. Truly blessed to have these right in our backyard here in WNY.
