Quick facts about our team:
We have the most student-athletes from New York out of all the
Colleges or Universities in the state.
Each year we host toy drives and turkey drives during the fall and the winter.
We have 7 alumni currently playing in the NFL or CFL
We have had at least 3 Seniors in the Senior Bowl for the past 3 years.

Season Outlook:
This upcoming season BU is looking forward to showcasing all the hard work our team has done all offseason. “Be ready for our season opener”, coach Deuche told us “This conference has not seen how explosive our offense is, and don't get me started on our defense!”.
The Bison are eager to show the NEAC conference what they bring to the table. After finishing last season 7-4, the mentality in the locker room is that they could be soo much better especially since they started the last year 0-4.
The captains of the team along with Coach Deuche were asked what they think their record will be this year and they all denied to give a specific record but said: “Be ready to buy championship tickets.”

Overview of last season:
Last year the Bison finished with a record of 7-4. We started off 0-4, but after an emotional speech given at halftime by senior wide receiver Zachary Walker, the Bison changed their season around and went on a 7 game winning streak.
After that, we won the conference and made it to the national chip but lost to Maryland Eastern Shore by a field goal.
Overall, to the outsiders, last season was a good season but in the eyes of our coaches and players we still have work to do.

UB Football signing Canadian 5 star tackle
University at Buffalo Head Football announced the signing of top Canadian recruit Juice Thomas. The Ontario native helped lead his high school to 3 championships and started all 4 years of High School. Arthur is the only All-Canadian basketball player playing at the NCAA D-III level.
“Juice has the potential to be All-American,” Coach said. “His offensive skills are akin to the D-I level. He is big, fast, strong and his nickname was Greek.” Coach is optimistic about the coming season.

Buffalo University was founded in 1880 in western Buffalo. With a student population of 1,720 the institution has over 45 different majors. The university also has a total of 11 different sports in that our student athletes excel in. Last year our football team won the NCAA Division II Championship. Frederick Lee took the role of University President in 2020. while Lee was president, the university’s annual research funding awards from external sources have risen to more than 6 million dollars per year. Michael Brown was named the athletic director of Buffalo University in 2015. The football team won the NCAA D-III national championships in 2022 and the cross-country team won three NAC titles in the last four seasons.
