Come Coach with the Otters!

We’re looking for a coach to join our team and help guide the development of an amazing group of young competitive swimmers.

You’ll be joining an established group of experienced coaches who share a common vision for our swimmers and our team. Here’s what sets the Otters apart. If any of this resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you:

1. We coach from the water.
We’re big on technique, and we believe some of the best coaching happens in the water, alongside our swimmers.

2. We don’t have a “head coach” model.
Our coaches are empowered and trusted to take ownership of their groups and contribute to the direction and development of the entire team.

3. We’re serious about fun.
We use lots of games, equipment, challenges, and plenty of creativity to keep practices engaging while still helping swimmers get better.

We practice Monday through Friday from 4-6pm and have additional sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7-8:30pm. Pay is $25 per hour. You will need to work through the USA Swimming Coach Certification process (we will help you with this).

Come swim with the Otters! Fall and winter registrations open to the public tomorrow (Saturday, 8/15). We have a great season planned, including:
18 swim meets, with a full championship season
A new practice slot from 7-8:30pm
A new Jr. SWAT swim level
Free tech suits to all Age Group qualifiers (up to $700 value)
Coaches in the water, focused on technique
Teen trips
Team dinners and activities
Lots of training gear to build speed and keep practices interesting
Special practice slots for distance swimmers

Did you know that the Addison Otters offer swim lessons in Bristol? We have three levels, including a new caregiver/child level. These lessons are a great way to build basic swimming skills, get your kids comfortable in the water, and set them on the path to become a competitive swimmer! Visit our site for more info.

Last day at Eastern Zone Age Groups. Olympian Ryan Lochte came to watch these kids swim!

Eastern Zone Sectionals last weekend in Ithaca. This week we are at Eastern Zone Age groups in Buffalo. More pictures to come soon of our 10U swimmers!!
