Zajac goes the distance, Morrison homers in 6-1 win over Adelphi - Bentley University Taylor Zajac allowed just one run in a complete-game effort, and Jess Morrison crushed her second home run of the season to lead the Bentley softball team to a 6-1 win over Adelphi Friday afternoon. The Falcons bounced back after losing the first game of the doubleheader, 10-0 (5 inn.).

I’ve been working on a NEW NOTEBOOK for my pitchers for a while now and I’m really excited to finally share it. It’s more of a workbook than notebook.
The biggest thing I use it for is accountability… For the student and MYSELF.
They can track speed, spot, spin, workouts, progress and more.

I’m not doing a free PDF version for this one. I put a ton of work into it and wanted it to be something more than just something that gets passed around.

I basically took all the common questions we get in this group and built them into a notebook where pitchers can track their progress and see improvement.

One thing I’ve learned over the years working with pitchers is that it’s not usually a lack of effort that holds them back. It’s a lack of accountability and structure.
Most athletes will show up and work hard. But if they are not tracking what they are doing, it is really easy to fall into just going through the motions.
When they start writing things down like bullpens, drills, how things felt, and what improved, you start to see a big shift. They become more aware, more consistent, and a lot more intentional with their work.
Progress stops being random and starts becoming something they can actually see and build on.
It is a simple habit, but it makes a big difference over time.
