A 99-year-old ballerina from Sierra Madre once performed all over the world and for the last 25 years, she's been teaching ballet at the Pasadena Dance Theater. Helga de Kansky is as sharp as ever and still light on her feet. "I'm surprised that I'm 99 because I don't really feel 99," she said. But as she gets ready to turn 100 in December, de Kansky says she has no plans to hang up her ballet shoes just yet.

✨Meet Amelia Waddell✨

📖She is many things in this lovely life. A Buffalo, NY native, a dancer, a reader, a writer, a performer, and a healthcare provider. She has a BFA in dance and Master’s of Science in Athletic Training. She has been writing and creating art for as long as she can remember. Amelia aspires to combine both her love of science and art into fantastical creations. The Guardians: DEATH is her debut novel that has gone from her middle school composition notebooks to a world all of its own. It has been her dream for many years to be a published author and she is elated about this journey with Twisted Words Publishing.
