Even if you missed the opening, Silver Creek Elementary has a stunning new playground to enjoy this summer. Castle themed and intentionally designed with two age groups in mind, it features poured in place rubber surfacing, turf mounds and shaded seating. Equipment was selected using feedback from district staff, parents and community members and chosen to appeal to children of all ages and abilities.

This past Friday, Parkitects gathered at Watkins Glen International for our annual family picnic. Just steps away from the race track, we watched our driver Derek Ware take on his race and make it to the podium! We welcomed our installation partners Align Outdoors , Gardenville and Terlouw and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day.

A perfect day for a playground opening! 🎉

King’s Bend, a serene park tucked back from the road in Pittsford NY, was full of families today experiencing the new PlayLSI playground. A quiet location where the community enjoys fishing and using the park’s lodges, has a playground that reflects its atmosphere. Natural colors, nature play GFRC, fish riders and a playground grass river, make this playspace immersive and fun!

Tuesday was a beautiful day for a ribbon cutting at Carter Park in Greece NY.

Local, county, state and federal representatives joined the Greece community sharing their thoughts on this truly unique playspace. They shared how this space was not just accessible, but truly welcoming to all ages abilities, designed with everyone in mind.
