Great weekend in Cleveland. Nice job Lakers!!!

Cleveland is coming up quickly and we need to handle a few things.
The teams have been registered and now, it is very important that we get the hotel list to the hotel so they know how to accommodate us.
Please email me that you will need a room. Although many of you have given me verbal confirmation, I am still quite nervous that we will not have enough for a second team and that we may need to withdraw a team before it becomes too late.

Hamburg Jamboree:

Attached are the changes made as per final requests today. As you will see, instead of two types of schedules, I’ve color coordinated teams based upon their day and session. At this point we are finalized and awaiting rosters from the participating teams. Our vendors are very much looking forward to seeing you as well- we will have custom design t-shirts available for order along with some vendors for the moms!! Our food vendors are ready to feed all the hungry kids with chicken and steak hoagies, pizza, soup, chili, mac n cheese, etc. And our pro shop will be open for any last minute items or skate sharpening needs. The event is at the Hamburg Nike Base, 2982 Lakeview Rd., Hamburg, NY 14075. I look forward to seeing all of you!

Thursdays- 5:30-6:20pm

This should prove to be a wonderful experience! Our very first tournament of the year along the frosty, frigid waterways of the great city of Buffalo NY. This tournament will be outdoors the way it was intended.
Please let us know if your child will be available to play in the TCS RiverWorks Winter Classic.

If you are new to the program and you are not familiar with the Jamborees or are not familiar with their format, here are a few links to give you a little insight.

Jamestown Lakers ADM/ Mites.
This is the 2016-17 WNYAHL Mite Jamboree Schedule. Jamestown is in the BLUE division and only to follow the Blue Division.
We will discuss this more tomorrow evening at the ADM/parent meeting at 6:00pm. Meeting will be held in the party room at the base of the stairs in the sub-level.

All of these dates are on Rink B.
The Tuesday practices will be 50 mins and the Thursday practices will be 65 mins long, until November when both sessions will be 50 mins long.
I am trying to minimize the number of teams affected by the switching of rinks, currently the only team that would be affected for October is the squirts on Tuesday nights.
The squirts practice time will now be 6:15pm on Oct 11, 18, 25.
Every other team practice can remain the same until the week of October 31st, when the times will change to the schedule sent out yesterday.

I will make up a day by day schedule for all teams for the month of October as well as the new schedule starting October 31st.
Copies will be available at the front desk if anyone should need/want one.

For any of our Lakers families looking for skates. I have a pair of junior size 1 Bauer Vapors X60. I purchased last season and they have never been used. They have a set of red waxed laces and quick release blade. They were sharpened at Total Hockey in Cranberry when they came in to the shop. I paid $159.00 will take $99.00
