Last week was very stressful and scary, but had a happy ending.
We were able to greet our first grandchild into the world, and although he was a little ahead of schedule, he is healthy and doing great!
However, our daughter was transferred from CMH in Bolivar to Mercy in Springfield due to some complications, and she stayed there for a few days.
I’m happy to say though, that both mom and baby are home now and doing well.

Thank you for being patient while we took the week off!

So now that we are back to “normal” (?), I will be set up at Dollar Tree in Buffalo tomorrow, Saturday (September 12th) from 8:30 to 3:00
*times subject to change due to rain and/or heat… it’s Missouri after all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bring your knives, scissors, chainsaws, loppers, pruning shears & tools to be sharpened on site.

We will have Fire Mountain BBQ on site as well, starting at 11:00, serving up their finger licking, lip smacking,
BBQ meals.

With the events of this week (our daughter giving birth to our first grandchild, but having serious complications and being transferred from Bolivar to Springfield while her baby remained in Bolivar 🙄, my wife and I needed to stay with the baby. When Bolivar finally released the baby, we then had to stay with them in Springfield to help with the baby while our daughter recovered.
It seems our daughter is out of the woods right now and on the road to recovery and the baby is absolutely a little hunk of a man, nice and healthy!
However, my wife is staying the night in the hospital with her to help in any way she can, with the baby or with our daughter. Therefore I won’t be able to set up at Dollar Tree in Buffalo tomorrow. My sincere apologies.
All that said, we both have been off work all week, and I’ve had a few people reach out to ask for my CashApp or PayPal link so they could donate. They have encouraged me to share these links in case others feel like they want to donate as well. While I do NOT like taking “charity”, I will admit that we’ve taken a financial hit this week with both of us not working. So I will reluctantly share those links, or at least attempt to.
I would like to highlight though, that even though I won’t be able to set up at Dollar Tree tomorrow, I will be working from HOME and offering a 25% discount on ALL sharpening services. So if you need any sharpening, PLEASE come on out and let me sharpen your items, and SAVE 25% OFF the regular prices!
I will be sharpening from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. I will do my best to sharpen while you’re here, so no need to drop off and come back.

Update:
Due to the circumstances, my wife will be staying at the hospital overnight with our daughter and grandson.
This means I will NOT be able to set up at Dollar Tree tomorrow.
I will however be working from home tomorrow, from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm.
I will also be offering 25% off all sharpening tomorrow as a thank you for your patience and understanding.
I will make a separate post with more details when I get home this evening.

Folks, once again I will be closed today.
As many of you know, our daughter gave birth on Wednesday, and while the baby is healthy, our daughter has had some heart/lung complications and has had to stay in the hospital for treatment.
So we’ve been at the hospital each day, all day for our daughter, grandson and son in-law to help.
I’m hoping to be set up at Dollar Tree tomorrow, Saturday September 5th, if everything goes well today. I will be there from around 9:00 - 2:00 (??) depending on the extreme heat.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have been navigating through this week.
We certainly appreciate it!
