Did you know some of the best junior squash in the world is happening right over the border at White Oaks? 🇨🇦

Cordelia Hsu, our local Buffalo squash junior, has just wrapped up an outstanding performance at the World Junior Individual Squash Championships, finishing 58th in the world!! This is an incredible accomplishment on one of the biggest stages in junior squash, and everyone at Buffalo Squash should be immensely proud!

Throughout the tournament, Cordelia proudly told competitors and spectators that she is from Buffalo and trains in Buffalo. She has been an outstanding ambassador to the BSRA and the broader Buffalo squash community, and we are thrilled to celebrate everything she has achieved.

But she’s not done yet!

Beginning today, Cordelia is representing Chinese Taipei at the World Junior Team Championships, once again competing against the best junior players from around the globe.

If you’d like to cheer her on, here is Team Chinese Taipei’s preliminary round schedule:

* vs. India: Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
* vs. South Africa: Monday at 5:30 p.m.
* vs. Malaysia: Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.

And if Team Chinese Taipei advances to the Team Championship Finals on Thursday, July 31, Cordelia has generously made guest passes available for members of the Buffalo Squash community, so friends and supporters can attend at no cost. We’d love to see a strong Buffalo cheering section there!

Huge congrats to Team 3 for taking out the singles — Petra DeRose, David Bard, Zach Bliss, and George Tibil played their hearts out and earned every point.

Fun day on the squash courts with the ladies. Since we didn’t make it to Howe Cup this year, we decided to get together anyway and make a day of it. Thanks to Sally for pulling us all together. Great rallies, lots of laughs, and the best company.
