These withstood the pressure and turned coal into diamonds a few weeks ago! 💪🏼💪🏼

What a solid weekend for the squad at the Perfect Game Southeast Summer Classic Open! The guys came out hot Saturday, winning their pool play 9-1 and 8-3, locking up the 2nd overall seed.

They kept rolling Sunday, run ruling their first two bracket play games 11-3 and 9-1. They won their first 4 games by a combined score of 37-8… Even more impressive is they got through their first 4 games using only 4 pitchers.

They came up short in the championship game, dropping that game 10-6… But it wasn’t without a fight. The game ended with the tying run at the plate.

While a runner up finish isn’t ever as sweet as finishing the drill, it was still a solid weekend for the squad!

Easton may be the biggest kid on the team, but he’s also the quietest. A silent killer. Like every baseball player, he has had his fair share of ups and downs throughout his baseball life… But one of his best traits is his unmatched work ethic. He works his butt off both on and off the field. His unshakeable spirit is admirable and a big part of what helps him stay as even keeled as he does. He is an incredible teammate. He loves to see his teammates have success as much as he likes to achieve it himself.

Having been a part of his baseball life every season he has ever played, watching him grow from the kid who had no clue into the player he is today has been so much fun to be a part of. Keep up the incredible work ethic and you’ll shine bright in everything you do! The sky is the limit for you, Easton.
