To our 1440 Family, thank you. Thank you for supporting us in every way this past month as we learn new habits, make decisions with you all in mind, and take the little steps to bring you a facility in line with your ideals. We listened to your needs, and wants, and are moving in that direction with a heck of a vision for the future. None of this would matter without you and our team now operates with that as our focus. The front door access system has been fixed!! Sorry again for any inconvenience.

It has come to our attention that the front door system is not working/letting members in, likely due to the power outage/issues last night. We are working to get it resolved ASAP!! So sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you.

UPDATE!!!
We will be reopening tomorrow, April 24th!! Per Gov. Kemp, there will be some restrictions and precautionary measures enforced. Please read and pay attention to ALL signs posted throughout the gym.

- There will be limited staffed hours and we will continue to clean and sanitize to the best of our ability, but please clean equipment before & after use.

- Group Fitness Classes will continue to be canceled until a later phase.

- Members will have 24/7 access in order to keep the occupied rate lower throughout the day. (Gym will be remotely monitored at all times.)

- Please follow precautions posted around the gym and respect other members by practicing social distance.

- NO GUESTS allowed during this time! This is to ensure our members will receive priority access and avoid overcrowding.

Please know that a lot of thought has gone into this decision. If you do not follow the rules and guidelines, you will put the gym at additional risk of being CLOSED again.

Hey 1440 Fam!!

Well, we had hoped that it would only last a maximum of a few weeks and that we would be able to reopen this week, but the shelter-in-place order was extended to April 30th. We will continue to keep an eye on the situation and post new updates as soon as we know any additional information.

All billing has been frozen until we are able to resume operations and reopen. Anyone that purchased a paid in full membership will have their memberships extended to make up for the time we had to be closed.

We miss all of you and can't say it enough, THANK YOU SO MUCH for sticking with us through these tough and uncertain times! Stay safe, stay healthy, and do your part to flatten the curve so we can get back to some sort of normalcy in the near future.

UPDATE: As we've said before, this is an uncertain time for small businesses like ourselves that juggle our social responsibility to follow the guidelines and suggestions from the CDC, federal, and state government, while still offering our services to our community. For now, there will be no staffed hours and members will continue to have 24hr access unless we are mandated by state or local government to close our doors temporarily. The positive feedback and encouragement we've received from so many has been greatly appreciated, and made all of us at Fitness 1440 Buford feel very blessed to be in this community.

During this time, please follow the rules and do not bring anyone in that does not have a membership.

We still ask that all our members help out in this very trying time. Please make sure that you wipe down all equipment that you use with the surface sanitizer and paper towels that are provided. We also have hand sanitizer throughout the facility for your use.
Ways to help:
**If you are sick or recently been around someone that is sick, STAY HOME!
**Wipe down all equipment that you use with the surface sanitizer provided throughout the facility.
**Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol hand gel that contains at least 60 percent alcohol.
**Cover your coughs; Sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and then throw the tissue away and wash your hands.

Members will still have 24hr access but guests are not permitted at this time.
