Today’s catch! Chris and I went diving today. A new record!
140 pairs of sunglasses,
Five Apple watches,
One debit card,
And a lifeguard whistle.

Now that’s a large haul for one day!

Haul #1 for today. In the bag!

A Divers Dream, by Richard Pickering

For I have an interesting story to tell,

That does not boast or even sell.

A tale of purpose, that shines a light,

From hidden waters, deep in blight.

Oh in the watery depths, they do hide,

Objects of men, fallen from their side.

Beneath the dark water, in slumber deep,

I dreamt of sunshine, with no secrets to keep.



The world above, a bustling scene,

Unknowingly now, on me they would lean.

Delivered now in a vibrant hue,

I return these goods that wait for you.

A morning drink, with a zesty bite,

My purpose found, in the bright sunlight.

FOUND! Wedding Ring #38

This is the 38th ring that I’ve found on the bottom of Lake Lanier! That has to be some kind of a record! 

This one had been on the bottom for 10 days and was  almost completely covered up in the mud. She had a pretty good idea where she lost it, but was not completely sure. She had been floating out in front of their dock when it slipped off her finger.

After over an hour in the water, I saw a glimmer of it with my underwater light and was able to retrieve it for her!
