Congratulations Dennis Scales on your USAW level 1. Truly one of the nicest, caring, most knowledgeable human beings we are happy to have as part of the team and now as a coach.
WOW!!! I just found out our Boys Team 13 & Under finished 2nd at the National Youth Championships this past weekend. The building has started.
The day went well with each athlete lifting PR's in each element. Allana Jones competed in the 58 kg class. She Sn**ched 28 kg going 2/3 and Clean & Je**ed 34 kg with a 2/3 performance. She totaled 62 kg and had a 3 kg PR.
Branson Gragg competed in the 69 kg class and had a perfect day in Sn**ch going 3/3. He had an 18 kg PR sn**ching 48 kg. In Clean & Jerk he had a 15 kg PR lifting 50 kg but only getting 1 of his 3 lifts.
Cesar Cruse competed in the 69+kg class. He was perfect in the Sn**ch lifting 60 kg with a 10 kg PR and finishing in 4th place by 1 kg. In the Clean & Jerk he opened with 70 kg a 5 kg PR and then missed 75 kg. We then went up to 78 kg chasing a medal opportunity and he just missed the jerk.
We are very proud of these young athletes for laying on the line this weekend. They all have been committed to the process and are dedicated to their development. They have Wildcat blood running deep because the fought hard and competed like Champions!
Thank you for all the support.
