Big updates just landed for the 2027 National Senior Games presented by Humana!

1. The age-specific competition schedule is now available. Visit NSGA.com/Schedule to view the dates for your events and age group.

2. Venues for these sports are now posted to their pages: Badminton, Basketball, Basketball Shooting Skills, Billiards, Bocce, Bowling, Co****le, Dance, Disc Golf, Flag Football, Pickleball, Powerlifting, Power Walk (1-mile), Shooting, Shuffleboard, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tai Chi, Track & Field, Triathlon, and Volleyball. To find venue details, visit NSGA.com/Sports and click on the icon for your sport. Remaining venues will be added as they are finalized.

3. Hotel booking through the NSGA’s housing partner, Team Travel Source, is now live at NSGA.com/Hotels.

And last but not least, be sure to SAVE THE DATE! Registration opens on Oct. 22, 2026, for all sports except Pickleball. Pickleball registration will open on Jan. 28, 2027.

I was able to punch my ticket into the USAT Series Final where I’ll go head to head with other ladies within my division.

I am so excited to have made it into the “Elite 8” and be able to share the line with 7 of the top ladies currently competing in the USA Archery outdoor USAT series.

Ranking is based on a cumulative score of each archers’ best two from the series, and double the Championship scores (first four ends only due to lightning cancellation). Clubs, coaches, archery shops and individual archers that registered unaffiliated should be on the lookout for an e-mail soon regarding delivery of the medals.

We had 166 archers participate and shoot a total of 365 scores this season, versus 136 archers and 329 scores in 2025. We really appreciate the turn out from the archery community this year. We already have a few clubs that are interested in hosting next year!

We are also going through the age classes and equipment divisions to expand the medals for 2027, especially with recurve archers, as they all had an excellent turn out! More to follow.

Last but not least, a VERY special thanks to all the volunteers, parents, judges and others this year! We couldn't have done it without you!

Attention members:

The open field will be closed this Friday to prepare for the Texas Outdoor Target Series - TOTS Championship. The 3D/Field practice range will be open to members.

All ranges will be closed for the championship on Saturday, unless of course you are competing, and will re-open once the championship is complete around 4pm.

The normal yards/meters practice range will be reset next week.

Registration for TSAA State Outdoors is now open.

Registration for the TSAA State Outdoors Championship is now open. This will be a sanctioned event so it is record eligible including world records. Registration and all the details can be found on Eyes On Score.

The practice field and the competition field will be closed early tomorrow morning, around daylight until about noon, then again from 3pm until dusk, in preparation for Texas Outdoor Target Series - TOTS #4. We have a whopping 84 archers registered on 25 bales, and we still have a lot of work to do. Volunteers are welcome to come out and help! Sorry for any inconvenience.
